Final Results
Goddess Research Survey
Dissertation Title
Goddess Focused Spirituality: The Experience of Women and the Implications for Therapy
J. Rebecca Busby, Psy.D.
The "Results" are now available online at http://coon.dyndns.org/survey/results.html. Some of the questions resulted in files which were too large to condense into meaningful data so they were not included in the final dissertation. Also, the final dissertation was completed with only the USA data due to discrepancies in currency and educational systems. However, I have posted some raw data for the USA and other countries distinguished by a format difference. In the USA data, the appendix number is listed and it has green table boundaries for data published in the dissertation. Tables with grey shading on the tables in the USA results and other countries' results were not included in the final dissertation.
I want to thank the Witches' Voice and everyone who participated in the Goddess Research Survey for the great success! Data Collection was held for 30 days in July/August 2005 and we gathered 5500 responses. This was the largest census of its kind to date. The prior census by Berger, Leach and Shaffer collected 2089 surveys.
Thanks also for all the great questions and comments as they helped me to address these areas in the discussion of the final dissertation which was published June 2007. Your thought provoking comments and question will assist researchers when thinking and planning further research to prevent errors and/or help in construction of better more meaningful surveys for this population.
If you haven’t read the detailed description of the study, it is still available online. Go to http://coon.dyndns.org/survey/detail.html.
For questions about the results of this study, please email goddessresearch@sbcglobal.net with the subject "Questions".
Again, I wish to thank everyone who has shown interest, who helped by posting the notice in many locations and the participants for your help. I am actively seeking an interested publisher to publish this book for the general public. If you have publishing contacts please forward this notice to them or send me the contact information.
I truly appreciate all the help you provided.
